The Queen of Nagas

[ Queen of Nagas seized by American Army at Mekhong River, Laos Military Base on Jun 27, 1973 with the length of 7.80 metres.]
Rumours said that all the man in the picture died one by one after the picture was taken. Another version of the story was the photo was taken on Sep 19 1996 at the Naval Special Warfare Center, Coronado California. The hugh fish was found lying on the sand at 23ft in length 4ft in circumference by the Navy SEAL Cadets. They carry the fish back to the Naval Amphibious Base and contacted a scientist from the university and identified the fish as an OAR FISH.
This fish inhabit the depths of warm tropical water around the world. The fish are rare and not much is known of their habits. It normally stay down at extreme depths of 700ft or greater. In reality, the fish's head was about to come off, but the photo we saw have been touched up.
The Naga, an underwater creature from Hindu and Buddhist mythology is superior to humans and is keeper of the life giving energy that is inherent in fresh water. Ancient belief that the King of nagas reigns in an underwater Kingdom called Muang Badan and it was believed to exist deep beneath the Mekhong River, with its capital city lying below Nong Khai Province.
Nong Khai is famous of the annual fireball displays which occur on the full moon night of the 11th Month of the lunar year. It's called the "Bung Fai Phya nak"or the Naga Fireball. This seemingly natural phenomenon has been ascribed to the Naga King paying tribute to the Lord Buddha in commemoration of the end of Buddha lent.
Well, we have seen various version of the story, we are in no way attempting to disprove the existence of the Naga or challenge the authenticity of the Bung Fai Phya Nak, no doubt, the picture was indeed an eye opener.
